Account Executive – Publisher Sales for bRealTime

What’s this role all about?

  • You will be responsible for prospecting, negotiating, and closely publisher agreements
  • Strong aptitude for identifying opportunities and structuring the right contracts with publisher clients.
  • Identify & Execute new opportunities on existing publisher network
  • Track opportunities through the sales funnel and properly communicate a pipeline of activity upward.
  • Communicate with Publisher Development and Operation teams about insights and market opportunities

What are the skills and experience required for this role?
You will have 5 to 10 years of proven entrepreneurial leadership experience in Publisher Sales and Development.  You will develop/refine supply side strategy – focusing on strategic (tier 1 & 2) publisher side relationships both domestically and internationally.  You will lead the entire U.S. based publisher development sales staff, grow & build the team, and execute on focused sales strategy (developed & planned in collaboration with bRealTime GM, CRO, & the greater CPXi C-Level team).  Significantly growing, maintaining, and breaking new supply side sales partnerships is fundamental to the individual’s success and key to the company’s success. Your management responsibilities will include Salesforce Recruitment, Sales Process Development, Performance & Metric Management, Product Collaboration and Leadership.

What additional skills do I need to land this role?

  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a highly technical environment & work collaboratively with the Tech, Marketing, Finance, Product and Operation teams.
  • Strong knowledge of the “eco-system” and how to connect all the dots and navigate through all the variations of what advertisers/agencies are approached with daily (DSP, Networks, Vertical Networks, SSPs, Marketplaces, Video, Mobile, etc.). Most important is an understanding how to put that knowledge to use and differentiate.
  • Conceptualization and execution of seven figure digital deals.
  • Reaching or exceeding quarterly revenue goals and managing process of comprehensive day to day analysis of key accounts
  • Budgeting & forecasting experience is a must.
  • Deep understanding of digital media technology .
  • Strong national reputation & relationships with top tier publishers.
