Digital Publishing Innovation Summit

Our team attended the Digital Publishing Innovation Summit on July 16th  to discuss the future of technology in publishing. This event featured 150 digital publishing leaders and over 30 industry speakers. Speakers examined topics from millennial targeting to native advertising. Michael Farber, Director of Publisher Development, recounts his time at the summit:

“The Digital Publishing Innovation Summit was a rare opportunity to get a glimpse into the true focus of publishers from a marketing and user engagement perspective.”

Like Farber mentions, the event focused on user engagement, dedicating an entire session to audience development. Dan Chiprut, Account Executive, offers his opinion of the Digital Publishing Innovation Summit:

It is always great to hear what is going on within the ever changing digital media/advertising industry. To understand publishers and other companies needs is critical for the growth of our company so we can gear our offers and technology to grow relationships in the future.”

Presenters from Harper Collins and Scholastic, some of the industry’s publishing powerhouses, spoke on what legacy companies can learn from start-ups. It was an amazing learning experience and we’re excited to get in on the digital publishing conversation.
